Every time I log into WordPress, wpDiscuz seems to have another update waiting for me. Six updates in eighteen days is starting to feel a little fucking excessive.

I swear to God every fucking video on the internet now has that same high-pitched chipmunk voice screaming over it. Dogs, babies, sandwiches, doesn’t matter. Some influencer always has to make it sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks discovered crack cocaine.

The internet used to feel like a tool. Now it feels like a giant popularity contest where every opinion is filtered through influencers, algorithms, branding, and whatever gets the most clicks.
