It’s Called ‘Entry Level’ For A Reason

So I was watching some Seth McFarlane cartoons on YouTube, and as usual, the comments section was almost as entertaining as the video. Seth not only knows how to make comedy, he knows how to make money. That is, after all, the point of entering into any sort of profession. Otherwise, just mooch off the goverment like 65 percent of New Orleans, LA.

It seems Seth has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Burger King to help promote his “Cartoon Cavalcade”, and as always the leftists who tend to flock to McFarlane were on their “how dare he get a corporate sponsor” kick. Seriously, you couldn’t ask for a better sponsor than Burger King – the double Whopper, while not as awesome as Hardees ‘Monster Burger’, kicks ass. Plus you can feed a family of 4 cheap as shit. Why these leftys are always after these high volume businesses  that provide quality goods at low prices such as Wal Mart and Burger King – all the while claiming they ‘support the little guy’ – is beyond me. “Hi – here’s some fries to go with your hypocrisy, dumbass. ” But this moron posted what is probably the dumbest phrase ever uttered since Al Gore claimed he invented the internet.

fuck burger king. they underpay thier workers

Underpay? You fucking douchebag – how much are you supposed to make to watch a vat of hot grease, or properly put some lettuce on a dead cow? Hell, you don’t even really have to watch the grease – you can wander around and wait for the timer to go off and remind you it’s time to burn A calorie taking the fries out! And you can’t say they flip burgers either; a machine does that, and then all they do is slap it on some bread and try to make it look like the picture of the burger you saw that drew you to BK in the first place – which, of course, it never does. It’s called an ENTRY LEVEL job for a reason, you fucktard!!!! You’re not supposed to make a career out of it. If you want to make money in fast food, perhaps you should aim higher than DEEP FRYER OPERATOR. You have seriously failed at life if you’re older than 30 working at one of these places, and aren’t the Head Negro In Charge. It’s meant to be a stepping stone, not the fucking pinnacle of success! It’s dumbasses like you that want to drive up the minimum wage to the point a Whopper will cost 10 bucks, because we have to pay some jackass dropout $18 an hour to perform a service that a fucking monkey can do. And simply because you feel bad that someone with no goals in life and no useful skills or talents is working in a career that was never meant to be a fucking career.

Just shut the fuck up. Never come on the internet again. But behold, another moron jumped to the defense of the first one:

I guess 10 bucks for a Whopper would ruin your daily trip to BK, wouldn’t it? I’m sure those workers work a lot harder than you make it out to be. Not everybody that works there is a drop out. I’m sure like most of these unhealthy fast food places, the profits go to the pockets of the execs and not to making healthier food or paying their workers what they really deserve. You’re one of those customers that DESERVES to have their food messed with.

How about you just shut the fuck up. I have known PLENTY of people that worked there, McDonalds, Dominoe’s, all those places, and the job isn’t worth more than minimum wage – a LOW minimum wage. Who gives a fuck where the profit goes or if the food is unhealthy? The point is the job just isn’t worth that damn much. The only skills you have to posses to perform that job is an ability to wash your hands and fold wrappers – that’s about it. Attempting to insert the struggle of class against class like some Marxist dipshit into a debate about a low income job that is low income for a reason rather than actually considering the work performed against the skills necessary and wages earned is the same populist bullshit that got the U.S. into the economic mess it’s in, and keeps the same people who caused it in power while you bask in your ignorance and keep trying to convince yourselves that taking more money away from the only people that are actually powering the economy and giving it to those who already barely contribute is somehow supposed to fix a problem that was created by that very sort of behavior! It’s class warfare, serves absolutely no purpose, and is sheer stupidity at its core. We’re not discussing 14 year olds working in a linen mill for 15 cents a day, or auto workers from 1936 who couldn’t feed their families because Henry Ford needed a better brand of toupee; we’re talking about schlubs in the 2000′s who still haven’t figured out that Burger King is only a great career opportunity if you get to management. And if you haven’t made it to management at BK by your mid-20′s (or weren’t hired at a later age directly to management) you have seriously fucked up! Burger King does not need to pay you more to perform a skill that requires ZERO education or experience. And sorry, but they just don’t work that damn hard either to justify it as a labor expense. Here are a few questions to ask yourself before commenting BK’s workers are underpaid again:

  • How often is your order wrong?
  • How many times have you had an excessive wait for your food, even when there wasn’t a lunch rush?
  • Do you actually even go to Burger King?
  • When you were in the restaurant, were the workers soaked with sweat and blood, gasping for air as their cruel masters whipped them and took money from their wallets?

That’s what I thought. You’ve probably been pissed off at those goons more times than you can remember because they left pickles on your burger, even though it takes almost no effort at all for you to remove the pickles yourself. And I’m pretty sure at least one of those characters that had to post their populist bullshit has never actually gone to a Burger King. Here’s a hint; if you do go, fucking pay attention to what’s going on in there before you start engaging people in debates or arguments about working conditions and wages. I don’t care how many ways you present it – fast food restaurants are meant for teenagers and entry level workers, unless you are management material. It is not the sort of work that justifies an income to support a family, and if someone is attempting to make a job at Burger King wrapping burgers and salting fries their primary source of income, it is their own god damned fault if they struggle or earn a lower wage than someone their age or skill level should. It is not the responsibility of the company, society, or the government to ensure that someone with that small an amount of initiative can get by in life or achieve some level of success.

In closing, you are dumb. Get off the internet.
